El Paseo Building
El Paseo is more than a building, it is a vibe and a mini neighborhood. When you walk in from State Street there are a couple path ways leading into a lovely courtyard. The buildings surrounding the courtyard are filled with local businesses, a lot of local wine tasting rooms and a couple of restaurants and a lot of history dating back to the early 1920's. Our tour will visit one of the local wine tasting rooms to enjoy a wine tasting of 3-4 wines and eating a shared grazing box (shared only with people from your group).
8
Casa de la Guerra
Most tours will walk into the grounds and talk about Casa De La Guerra. We do not enter the home (museum) but do encourage guests to go back and check both Casa De La Guerra and Presidio out!
9
Arlington Theatre
We pass by and near the Arlington Theatre, talking about some of it's long SB history. We generally do not enter the theatre on tours.
10
Santa Barbara County Courthouse
We love all the beauty & history our courthouse has to offer. When available, we do like to take guests inside, but it is not always time permitting. Metal detectors have been added to the courthouse entrance. Please leave anything at home that could be perceived as a weapon ie pocket knife, mace, etc
11
The Granada Theatre
We have to stop and talk about the Granada theatre in all it's glory. Sadly, we are not able to enter it on tours at this time.
12
The Historic La Arcada Courtyard
Downtown offers random walkways and arcadas. Time permitting we like to weave through them stopping to look at and take pictures with famous statues (window washer) and look at the adorable and totally random turtles in the turtle pond.
13
El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park
Not all tours will pass by El Presidio. Time and route permitting we will stop and talk about it.

We had a wonderful, FILLING day with Erin during Veteran' Day weekend! Our review is delayed (due to illness), but Erin deserves a great write-up for what she does! Her choices of eating paces to visit were well researched. Erin's knowledge of Santa Barbara history and culture make her the perfect foodie/tour guide! I'm not keen on history but I really enjoyed listening to Erin and truly admired her ability of presenting historical facts in a most enjoyable way. That day was clear and crisp (rained the nite before) so the brisk walking was another added pleasure. Our favorite stop was the Arch Rock Fish! That salmon was truly the best prepared and presented! Thank you, Erin, for an awesome time! You are the best and you'll probably see us again!

I have been travelling to Santa Barbara for twenty years but you never know a city like a local. The best hang outs are always a couple block off the main tourist areas where you would never look. SavorSantaBarbaraFoodTours.com provided a perfect day in beautiful Santa Barbara. Erin lead an intimate group through some of the best haunts in Santa Barbara, some new and some old, with interesting city history along the way. The food was perfectly sized for an eating adventure and the short walks between stop gave us an opportunity to relax and reflect on the great food we had just experienced. We also stopped a local watering hole and one of the best wineries in town. All in all, a wonderful day!

I really enjoyed my tour with Erin at Savor Santa Barbara! Because I signed up for a mid-week, off-season tour, I ended up being the only one on the tour. They were very nice and emailed to see if I'd prefer to go on a different day with a group. But since I was only in town for a few days and only had that day free, they went ahead and did the tour just for me. Erin was great! It was like visiting a new city with a friend. The restaurants we visited were very good and the food/drinks were excellent. Erin knows a lot about the city of Santa Barbara and gave lots of good info and history about the area. Every place we visited was someplace that I'd go back to for a meal. I'd highly recommend this tour if you're in Santa Barbara and looking for a fun way to try new places and see the city.
