"Drink sir, is a great provoker..."

The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+

What an evening! Absolutely hilarious! The most immersive, random and fun theatre experience I have ever had. Whether you like Shakespeare or not... if you're a fan of sarcasm, quick wit and wicked humour, you'll love this performance. The actors were wonderful, the concept is brilliant and it was a thoroughly fun evening. Can't recommend enough.

Two couples went and were sat in the front row. Our tickets were for the 2nd row, but they must have thought we would be willing to participate. We did. To be fair there are just two rows. It is a small theatre/large room. They start by talking with the crowd and getting personal information that they work into the act. each time they pick a cast member to get drunk and they do get drunk! It is fun and you are in the mix. If you are a wall flower/introvert this is not for you.

I was so excited to visit Drunk Shakespeare after reading all the excellent reviews, but I just didn’t get it. Perhaps it’s because we are British?! We are 33 & 45... so maybe it’s for a younger audience. We love a drink though and enjoyed the drinks which were reasonably priced but for us it was a bit am dram. Sorry!
