Not for kids under 13 per their insurance, we found out the hard way. Our 10 year old had to ride on the back of his Dad's bike, not much fun for him. It was, however, a great tour! Our tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable with lots of information and interesting stories about Galveston. He made our first time on ebikes a little less intimidating and by the end of the 2 hourl/12 mile trip, we were feeling like pros. There was more traffic to ride in than we expected but that could have been due to Spring Break. Definitely take the tour with your teenage and up kids!

This was the perfect tour for my group of teenage boys. Aaron was very knowledgeable and patient with our antics (and the fact that we arrived late… Have a plan for parking before you go if you will be there on a busy day!) and led an adventurous tour for my crazy crew of boys with a bit of Galveston history along the way. The e-bikes are easy to ride, and the stretch of riding along the beach is an experience that we will never forget! My guys decided to hop in the water as we rode along the beach, so plan accordingly (sunscreen and bags for wet stuff) if you are with a group that might decide to take a dip. I wore a backpack to carry sunscreen, water, and my phone. I was glad that I had all of that with me. If you have adventurous people in your group, you should do this. We will definitely rent these bikes again! **We had a couple of elderly family members with us who can’t ride bikes. If we do this again, I will schedule one of the golf cart tours for them at the same time that we are on the bikes.

What a tour of Galveston island! We loved it. Thank you for a great experience and an extremely knowledgable guide! We hope to come back and find ALL the Ike sculptures around the island. They were our favorite part.
