If you’re looking for an authentic, worth-while experience during your trip to Asheville, look no further than this tour. Jared was a phenomenal host, who was genuinely interested in showing us the best this hip city has to offer. As a tour guide, he took safety as a top priority. He was conscientious about traffic flow and ensured that our group was together. I typically plan my travels around cycling and craft beers, so this tour most certainly fit the bill. Jared spent the introductory part of our tour asking us about our beer preference and evaluating our cycling skills. He selected some off-the-beaten-path breweries that featured some fabulous IPAs. Jared is well-versed in the history and culture of Asheville. We were not disappointed!
Typically the tour takes 4 hours and consists of 3 brewery stops. Jared picked up the tab at the first stop, and we paid for our flights at the other two. Most groups cycle 6-8 miles, but we ended up doing closer to 10. If time allows, ask if you can end the tour at the Grove Inn.
A few things to keep in mind: Dress in comfortable active wear. I would recommend getting a bite to eat at the second brewery. Bring a small water bottle, but all the breweries had water at each stop. We stopped at Luella’s next shop after the tour for some excellent BBQ. Coming from two experienced travelers, 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
