The food on this cruise is spectacular. Even for a metropolitan area which has many amazing restaurants, this is a standout on food. The cuisine is slightly fancy French/English (like beef burgundy and chateaubriand).
We did the cruise that started at 7pm, and I’d recommend going a bit earlier to get sunsets on the bay. In December, the 7-10pm cruise is cool if you want to see holiday lights, but otherwise she won’t be seeing things like sunsets or sailboats or dolphins, it’ll be dark most of the way. If you get one of the sunset cruises, the pictures will be spectacular.
Also, if you keep your eyes open, there may be dolphins (there’s several hundred in the bay) but they usually don’t stick around long.
Our total cost was about $35 per person, higher if you get alcohol. Everybody that I’ve ever taken on this cruise has had an amazing time, it is always a highlight of our trips to the Tampa area.
TripAdvisor asks, is this good for kids? Not particularly, I think adults will enjoy this more. I didn’t see any kids. If you have any kids and would like to do a day cruise, I’d recommend the the Florida aquarium’s cruise instead.
