Our tour guide, Shane, was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the breweries, as well as the history of Austin that has influenced the craft beer scene. It was very neat :)

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour. Shane (the owner/operator) picked us up at the place we were staying right when he said he would. He is a longtime Austinite who has a lot of knowledge about the city itself as well as the booming craft beer scene. He took us and two other people to three great breweries all of which gave generous tasting pours. We started at Pinthouse Pizza (Lamar) which had an almost overwhelming number of chooses on tap, then moved on to the charming Hops & Grain for more delicious beer samples. We finished with another great stop at Zilker. In addition to the great stops, Shane was very helpful in recommending other beers we should look out for while we were in Austin. Overall, it was simply a perfect way for beer lovers to spend an evening in Austin.

I was looking for a unique and fun surprise for my fiancé's 30th birthday. I found Austin Brewery Tours online but the breweries for that weekend were not yet posted. I sent an email and within 20minutes was corresponding with the owner, Shane. Since he hadn't set the breweries yet he let me choose what I thought Hank would like best. So I got all of our friends signed up and come the day of, things couldn't have been more perfect! Prompt pick-up in a very clean and roomy van, three fantastic and unique breweries, plenty of beer, and more than enough memories with our friends! Shane and our driver Glenn were amazing, and Hank said its the best birthday he's ever had! I'd say, mission accomplished all around!
