This was the most enjoyable tour that I have ever been on. We started our tour in Rock Springs and headed South on 191. There were a few look out areas that you could stop at, plus along our way we stopped at the Flaming Gorge Resort and ate lunch, which was great. There was also a gift shop beside the restaurant where you could buy souvenirs. You can even rent a cabin to stay in for a few days if desired. After lunch we continued on our tour then stopped at Red Canyon Lodge Overlook, which is very beautiful overlook area of the gorge. Our stop was at Buckboard Marina on the Wyoming side of the gorge. At Buckboard Marina you are able to rent, if available, a boat house or a boat. After a full day's tour, we ended our day back in Rock Springs. If you were to take this bus tour around the Flaming Gorge, you would enjoy yourselves especially with Lucy as your tour guide. She is very informative about the area around the Flaming Gorge, and she made everyone feel so comfortable that they could ask her anything about the Flaming Gorge. I would like to conclude that the Flaming Gorge is a very popular camping, boating and fishing spot for all ages.
