Visit Maui’s famous snorkeling and diving destinations Molokini Crater and Turtle Town (or Coral Gardens) on a snorkeling catamaran! Molokini is an extinct volcanic cone and the snorkeling visibility is usually 100 feet or more! Many different species of marine life live within Molokini. Green sea turtles, fish, urchins, harmless sharks, manta rays and coral surrounded by crystal clear water all year around make Molokini a must do on your vacation activity list. This boat tour is on all tourist must see lists, and it's one of Maui's favorite activities. This is also one of Maui's most family-friendly activities.

We couldn't snorkel Molokini due to weather - so went to a spot that you can get to by car and stayed there for 3 hours. Staff was nice - however, highly disappointed in only one snorkel spot

On rare occasions, we do need to reroute the boat based on current weather conditions but we do so in order to ensure passenger safety. Please contact us on your next trip to Maui. We booked the molokini tour with Malolo ( tour operator ) via Viator and received conflicting meetup points between the info on reservation and the final reminder email. The final reminder email included all critical information but it was sent only one day before the tour at dinner time. Make sure you follow up closely on your email even though you are on vacation. The tour operator will not text you or call you if you are a few minutes behind or get lost in finding the meet up spot in a big plaza. They will just depart and take your money. We booked a few tours in Maui, and enjoyed the other tours. Malolo was the worst in our experience, they were unable to explain their policies clearly or provide any needed support if you are struggled at first time snorkeling. We expressed our concerns to Viator, but they were not able to address our concerns and failed to provide any reasonable explanations. We will come back to Maui again and will book local tours with other service providers who are more attentive to customer’s needs. Mahalo
