Jest to również zagrożona hawajska stolica zielonych żółwi morskich Maui, z 200-funtowymi żółwiami żerującymi wzdłuż linii brzegowej i wygrzewającymi się na plaży przez cały dzień.
3

9
Oho Gulch
**OBECNIE ZAMKNIĘTE PRZEZ SŁUŻBĘ PARKU NARODOWEGO** Wąwóz O`heo Gulch, błędnie nazywany „Siedmioma Świętymi Basenami”, znajduje się w rejonie Kipahulu w Parku Narodowym Haleakala. W rzeczywistości basenów jest więcej niż dwadzieścia cztery. Pętla o długości jednego kilometra prowadzi w dół do basenów i oceanu, a następnie w górę i dookoła, z powrotem na parking. UWAGA: Służba Parku Narodowego zamknęła dostęp do basenów na czas nieokreślony. Proszę zajrzeć na stronę NPS. Pogoda, bezpieczeństwo, czas i nieoczekiwane zamknięcie pozwalają.
10
Grób Charlesa Lindbergha
Niesamowite miejsce na piękne zdjęcia klifów. Odwiedź grób Charlesa A. Lindbergha. Słynny lotnik spędził ostatnie dni na bujnym wybrzeżu Hany. Dziś spoczywa na spokojnych terenach kościoła Palapala Ho’omau w pięknym Kipahulu. Sąsiadujący z wapiennym kościołem koralowym został zbudowany w 1857 roku.

Great tour! Having a private guide is the way to do it! Ronnie was a great tour guide - and a great guy who looked out for us and for our family! We had two children (7 and 9) and Ronnie watched out for them at every stop (making sure that they didn’t bump their head in the cave and to help them cross the river). Much appreciated! It was also special that Ronnie also had fun at the stops as well! We elected to hire a private guide rather than to get on and off a mini-bus with a group of people that we didn’t know - we definitely made the right choice! This way to get to see Hana is the way to do it!!!

My husband and I did the Road to Hana with Ronnie (we elected to do the private tour, rather than a tour bus - it's a bit more $$, but well worth it). He was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide, or a better guy in general, to take us around the beautiful island of Maui. The Road to Hana was gorgeous, and we never would have witnessed or been able to experience it as we did without Ronnie as our guide. From Jaws Country Store to rainbow eucalyptus to the Keane Arboretum to Bruddah Hut, the day was amazing. We were picked up at 7am (on the dot) and he dropped us off a bit after six. We know that an all day trip like that sounds daunting, but you truly don't feel it when the sights and the company make time fly by. We have recommended this specific tour to a handful of people (other tourists) now! If we have the opportunity, we will absolutely be back to experience other adventures through Keep it Simple.
