Well, Will Volpert of Indigo Creek Outfitters delivered an outstanding experience on our rafting trip on the Upper Klamath River. After arriving at the shop, we were all equipped with the gear that kept us both safe-- and warm-- throughout our day on the river. We started on the river at the optimal time, as the water level was peaking. We cascaded through 3-4+ rapids, with lots of excitement for everyone on the boat, but never in any danger as Will expertly guided us through every turn. He was a fountain of knowledge, imparting it about the river, wildlife, and local history. Bald eagles, freshwater pelicans, great blue herons and turtles enlivened the journey. Lunch was a feast, and then back on the river. Alas, the day came to an end, and we were picked up and transported back in safety, with half the group sleeping in comfort throughout the return.

Fantastic Trip! Y our guide did an amazing job. Entertaining and knowledgeable on our trip. We've done other trips in different states and this is by far the BEST rafting trip EVER! Constant rapids around every turn. We all got wet numerous times. Lots of laughs shared. The lunch was great! Not your normal set up. They bought the good stuff, natural bread, organic veggies, fruit, good lunch meat and so much more. Great choices for on the river. Thank you for making our trip memorable. We drove 16 hours for this trip and it was TOTALLY worth it!

We had an excellent day rafting with Indigo Creek Outfitters. There are as many big rapids on the Upper Klamath River for a day trip as on the Wild and Scenic section of the lower Rogue. The temperature had dropped into the 50’s but Indigo had wetsuits, splash jackets and fleece jackets to keep us warm. Lunch was terrific. Everyone from Will in the office, Ian guiding our boat, and Sam driving our van was friendly , upbeat, positive, informative, and helpful. We have done many outings and Indigo Creek has consistently been topnotch.
