Wycieczka po dzielnicy czerwonych latarni w Galveston

Przegląd
Return to a time when the mob ran Galveston and their guests were treated as if they were family. When you crossed the bridge you enter "The Free State of Galveston," where the only rules were mob rules. The stars of the era were world class entertainers brought in to perform in the casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin. Everyone was enjoying their own "Vegas Dream" right here in Galveston.

We had Rob and he was great!!!! Very interesting walking tour of the old red light district. It’s about 1.5 hours and it’s packed full of details! Not strenuous at all but on your feet. Glad we did this, the reviews we read were accurate!

This was our first evening activity and the knowledge we gained made the entire trip more fun. Our guide Rob was fantastic, he had a ton of information and delivered it with flair and humor. He was also sensitive to the need for my elderly mother to be able to sit down during the stationary segments of the tour. He was able to find her a bench or curb (Galveston has unusually tall curbs!) to rest on while still being front and center so she didn't miss a bit of each fascinating story. Not only do I recommend this to all (appropriate) age visitors, I also suggest starting here as the stories will come back to you as you continue to explore this beautiful and fascinating city.

People don't realize how interesting Galveston's history is .so complex. When you get to know who the players are the history comes alive. Thank you for your wonderful review and we're so glad you had a good time.
