Gentle Whitewater Float on the Salmon River

You will journey down the Salmon river for 7 miles and enjoy a delicious healthy riverside lunch at the end of your float. We run a section of the salmon river where the river begins to cut into the frank church river of no return wilderness. You will learn about the history of the people that once inhabited the canyon as well as those that traveled through early on. A perfect blend of splashy class I and II rapids will keep you entertained and cooled off on those hot summer days.

The raft trip was great! I got to explore the beautiful Salmon river and saw Bald Eagles as well. The guide was knowledgeable and answered our questions about what we were seeing and the background. The staff was friendly and lunch was great. I would use Idaho adventures again.

This company was easy to work with and very flexible for our large family group with lots of kids. We rented a raft and floated from their home base to Morgan Bar. Lots of places to jump out and okay in the water. The office crew and guide that helped set us up were great! (We floated without a guide.)

The scenery and the lush mountainsides after the rain was perfect. The crew was phenomenal! Highly recommend the scenic route so you can just enjoy the scenery. Next time I come back I will be hitting some rapids!!! Look forward to that with the Idaho Adventures Crew!
