One of the most exciting and exclusive tours we offer in Gettysburg is the Haunted Bus Tour. This bus tour takes you past some of the most haunted locations around Gettysburg while regaling you with the area’s most chilling haunted tales. Highlights of this 90-minute tour include a stop at the infamous Sachs Bridge and Gettysburg College. Beware, strange encounters await. You never know who or what might be waiting for you in the darkness…Are you brave enough to find out?

Haunted Bus Tours are offered most Saturdays throughout the summer and fall. Seating is limited and tours do sell out in advance. You will depart the bus twice during the tour; walking is required during each stop. Be sure to bring your camera, as you never know what you may capture!

Sachs Covered Bridge

Built by David Stoner in 1852, the historic Sachs Covered Bridge was used by both Union and Confederate Troops during the Civil War Battle of Gettysburg, July 1-3, 1863. It is reportedly known to be haunted, with many accounts of paranormal encounters.

Narrator was very knowledgeable and told some wonderful stories! Answered all questions and did a great job! Bus driver was awesome and showed great driving skills!

My daughter and I did the Haunted Bus Tour with Chris Saturday night 8/17/24. While at Sachs Bridge we didn’t capture anything but we went back the next day. Well let me just say we had a couple different things happen. First my daughter was at the end of the bridge while I was in the middle of the bridge and just before I started doing a video she asked me did you just call me, to which I responded by shaking my head no. It was only here and myself there. While talking a video you can hear someone say shut up (not my daughter) and a banging noise. Yet again while talking the video she asks me again did you call me and yet again the answer was no. We then walked along the stream on the far side of the bridge and as we were walking back to go on the other trail my daughter asks if I smell that, I did not smell anything and she wasn’t sure what the smell was. While walking down the trail before the bridge I heard what sounded like a rumble of thunder (not clouds or dark clouds as far as the eye could see). We heard this same sound multiple times while on the trail. When we left we went to do some shopping and while at the diorama I heard the exact sound that I heard at Sachs Bridge and came to a conclusion that it had to be cannons. Unfortunately I can not post the video.
