We determined not to go on the tour when we arrived as the weather was inclement which wouldn't have mattered so much, but there were so many people there only those right in front with the guide could have even heard the history being provided, and there were only 6 pieces of the "ghost hunting equipment" available for probably 30 or more people in attendance. We were told because of the weather we could return the next night, but that the group would probably not be any smaller. I would suggest perhaps that the persons booking the tour keep in mind the size of the group and the equipment that would be needed and perhaps have more than one guide to split them up so everyone can get the full experience. Due to the time frame required for a refund, we could not get one of course, so we just called it a loss.

I am sorry you decided not to join us. We do the tours rain or shine but we are happy to reschedule those that wish to because of weather. The groups can get in the busy season as high as thirty people, any larger and yes, we do either schedule a second guide and split the group or close off the bookings. (Just ask the disappointed people who couldn’t book because we had reached our limit.) However even then EVERYONE can hear the guide and has the “full’ experience. The vast majority of our reviews speak to that along with the fact that we have received Trip Advisors certificate of excellence 4 years in a row. As for the equipment, typically, we pass out 10 pieces of equipment so that every group or family has something from the beginning, and during the course of the tour we ask that people switch around the equipment so everyone gets an opportunity to use them.

I had a good time on the ghost tour. I got to see some neat place and hearing about interesting events. The tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the the history and of the paranormal activity in the area. Thank you Cindy for the guide and experience while in Gatlinburg.

Our tour guide Mike was excellent!! This is definitely the best ghost tour my family has taken while on a vacation. Mike has actual ghost hunting equipment we were able to use, and he was a great story teller. The history was interesting and it gave us a new perspective of Gatlinburg and it’s history. If you like ghost stories, and unusual information I would highly recommend this tour.
