Such a fun tour. Christopher, our guide, is patient, knowledgeable, and such a great resource. The tour included short, easy hikes prior to and after the rappelling.

We had a fantastic day exploring Goblin Valley State Park with Christopher. He was a patient and thorough guide, taking the time to carefully explain how the rappel would work. After a gorgeous hike and a few scrambles down into the canyon, we came to the Chamber of the Basilisk. Faced with a 90-foot drop, my anxiety started to really kick in, but Christopher offered kind encouragement and a secure belay. The rappel ended up being my favorite part! Highly recommend booking this tour.

I'm 67 and my wife is 72 and both fairly fit, but moderate fitness is fine for this excellent tour. Not much distance or steep terrain made it perfect for us to relive some of our past favorite activities - canyoneering , climbing and rappelling , which we had not done for quite a few years. We also lucked out to get a private tour on cool week day. Our guide Logan was very calm, confidence inspiring, and with my own climbing background, I could tell was very safe with his practices and would be excellent even with beginners. The main event - rappelling into the Goblin's Lair was probably the best, most exciting, rappel I ever did and the cavern is awe inspiring - cathedral like in beauty. An extra, if you have not been there, is also a walk through the best of Goblin Valley which is unique and outstanding for it's intriguing formation, all by itself . It was fun to tour through the easy part of the valley again and then finish with the Goblin's Lair. This tour was the highlight of our 5 night trip to this part of southern Utah. I highly recommend this service and this tour, for most people , would be physically easy to moderate, with some great outdoor thrills. Logan has worked with children as young as 10, but I expect teens and up would be best for being able to enjoy this tour.
