It’s really convenient to book your rental online and you save like $2 it’s not much but with the cost of living be Ming so high in California compared to Texas where I am from. That $2 meant everything. But when we got there they knew who we were and got all the bikes out for us. We can’t go inside due to COVID but it’s small anyways and it was a beautiful day outside.

I rented a hybrid bike online for 1 day. Store opened at 9 AM and I got my bike in minutes. Good quality, really nice staff. Best place in town, if you want to bike the Golden Gate Bridge, bc the store is rather close and there‘s only 1 hill to climb. Palace of Fine Arts and Chesnut St. with tons of cafes and restaurants is really close. Best places for the bridge: Fort Point (South) in the morning - see my photo - and Marine Headlands (North) in the afternoon/evening. The bike worked perfectly, good brakes and easy to handle. I was really happy to enjoy a great day with Golden Gate Bike.

After an extensive search for bike hire within Golden Gate bridge area, I decided on booking with Golden Gate Bike rental. Location of shop was key to my decision as I didn't want to be too far away from safe cycle lanes in this busy city. Easy to book in advance - collected on specific date with easy processing, friendly staff and bikes were good quality, safe and well maintained with helmets provided. We wanted to stay local to Golden Gate area so unable to review trip to Sausilito/Ferry aspect. Overall a perfect experience with a professional company ideally situated for riding in/around Golden Gate/Presidio/Crissy Fields and surrounding area.
