To put it bluntly, this ride was a joke and NOT worth the money spent -- maybe 40.00 per person at best. Christine was a sweetheart who booked us and Dave was a knowledgeable and safe driver. However, the service is over-rated and underwhelming. It takes you from the Buck Wild headquarters OUTSIDE the gates to the Grand Canyon to 3 major spots on the EAST rim of the canyon. And, while Dave was great at pointing out particular view points, this "tour" can be done on your own, without paying an exorbitant fee. Suggestion: pay the 35.00 entry fee at the Canyon entrance (or purchase the yearly pass to the National Parks for 80.00 -- good at ALL of them across the country) then drive the rim of the canyon on your own and use the pull-offs to view THE EXACT SAME SPOTS that the tour takes you. Start at the visitor's center at the South entrance, then work your way East. There's no need for a tour unless you don't have your own vehicle. We cannot speak for the helicopter or plane rides they offer, but this was a waste of money.

We are sorry that your tour was not as expected, and we appreciate the feedback.
We try to be very upfront that our tours, and other Commercial Ground Tours in the Grand Canyon, do not go to any viewpoints that you couldn't go to on your own. There are no special viewpoints sent aside for Commercial Tours, and there is no off road vehicle use allowed inside the Grand Canyon National Park.
The benefits of a guided tour are that you go with a guide who will do all the driving and parking, and give you a lot of information about the area. They will also take you to viewpoints that you might not find on your own, but that are of course available for use by everyone.
We apologize that this was not what you expected, but thank you for your review as it does help other potential travelers to understand what is and what is not involved in a guided tour at the Grand Canyon.
