Ticket is valid for one (1) admission per person for 365 days from the travel date listed on the ticket. You cannot use this prior to the printed travel date. Once the ticket is used, it cannot be reused.

Make your pwn way to the West Rim where guests are provided an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Please Note: Last ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November and varies as days get longer or shorter going into and out of the summer. Please be aware that Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Thus, during the winter months, Grand Canyon West is on Mountain Standard Time and is a full hour ahead of California and Nevada, which are on Pacific Standard Time. When DST is being observed, beginning in March, the time at Grand Canyon West is the same as the time in Las Vegas and California.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. After walking the Sky visit the Skywalk Gift Shop and pick up souvenirs to remember your walk and the grandeur of the Canyon.

We got there 15 minutes prior to the visitor's center opening. When they opened we went in and paid for our tickets at the desk. Our tickets did not print. The employee said nothing to us, left us standing there while she got another employee. After about 10 minutes a "manager" walked up and the 2nd employee told her what was going on, the "manager" muttered something and just walked off. Finally I asked what was going on, why they couldn't just make another transaction so we could get on our way. Several other people paid and got tickets from another computer. I was told they were trying to get a hold of IT to print our tickets. I asked if we were going to be compensated for our extended wait time since at that point we had been standing there for 20 minutes. The manager was extremely rude and told me they had not even been open that long. Obviously hospitality and customer service is not valued there. Not once was I offered an apology or explanation. I told her that I heard they had poor customer service and she then threatened to call security, which I welcomed. Finally while we were speaking to security our tickets printed. I have never encountered such rude management and poor customer service. The ticket scanners and bus driver were very kind. The view from Eagle Point was nice but once we saw the Skywalk we were so glad we did not pay for it. Views from Guano Point were spectacular and we almost had the place to ourselves. The West Rim fit in our route of travel otherwise we would have visited the national park. If you go, I think skipping the Skywalk still gives you beautiful views. Arrive early for less crowds. Tour busses start arriving at 9:30 and the visitor center was packed when we made our way out. And maybe buy tickets ahead of time to avoid hassle.

I do not recommend this tour at all! I specifically asked the representative if a discount for resident existed and since this appear to be on the expensive side and she said no. I then check the site and found a 10% discount for Nevada resident. I then emailed the customer service and was told told they could not reimburse me because their sales are final and their reps are trained. Please note it was a very busy day and the person that assisted me usually works at a gift shop and wasn’t used to selling the packages hence why she didn’t even know if a discount existed, nor explained what the following steps were. I was ripped off and do not recommend this at all! Usually when a rep makes a mistake you receive an apology and reimbursement of the money owe, and these people were not apologetic nor understanding so I will not recommend. I’m addition to the above we had to wait 2-3 hours in extreme heat conditions to enter the skywalk which was too much if you ask me with a price tag of 80/ per person.
