Better scheduling and communication with the Grand Canyon West Rim personnel is needed. The group was larger than they planned for, so needed a second bus, which was late. Some other people couldn't even get on the second bus. Super long lines for everything, so didn't even get to take pictures or even go to the second stop before having to be back to the bus. On top of that, other people did not care about the deadline and were over an hour late back to the bus. At least they got to see the other stop! Other tour bus companies had the meals preordered, so no wait for them! We called to complain twice and to speak to a manager, but no one ever called us back. Very unprepared and unprofessional.

Dear jeanniecourtney
Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and bringing your concerns to our attention.
It is unfortunate that you experienced long lines and wait times at Grand Canyon West. At this area of the Canyon, reservations are not required for individuals or groups wishing to visit this spectacular location and on rare occasions visitor numbers can exceed forecasted expectations.
The Hualapai Nation, the native American tribe whose land the West Rim in on, uses both historical information as well as well as information from tourism authorities in Nevada & Arizona to try to forecast visitors. Normally, this works quite well, however the pandemic has made forecasting less accurate. We are sorry that this affected your enjoyment of the day.
On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, we wish you only the best in your future travel experiences.
Sincerely,
Zachary
