What an experience. We took this flight seeing tour from Talkeetna. Our time was 8.30 AM and we reached as required, around 45 minutes before. We did some paper work and were given a briefing about plane and safety. We were also given some boots to wear on our shoes when we land on glacier on the snow. We were three plus a few other people, totally around 9 passenger and two crew. It was a bit scary when we started but the beautiful scenes made us forget our fear. we were soon soaring over the trees, rivers, mountains, clouds and a lot more. What a beautiful trip, it was just awesome. The views were unbelievable. We went around a lot of peaks including magnificent Denali. Then the climax of our trip—landing on a glacier. It was just too good to be true. The pilot, a young chap from New Zealand landed very professionally. We got down on a fresh coat of snow. It was deep. We stayed there for around 20 minutes walking around and watching the scenery and taking pictures. Then it was time to take off again. Take off was also smooth and soon we’re up and circling the mountains again enjoying the ride and the views. Soon it was time to return to base. Overall an awesome experience. Keep in mind this will be done if weather is clear. If not, then you get a full refund. We were lucky as last day it had snowed full day while our day was bright and sunny. This is an experience that is not to be missed.

10/10 recommend Talkeetna Air Taxi! Seriously if you’re looking for a flight tour, this is the company to go through. We had an amazing time with breath taking views that made this trip absolutely magical. The mountains and landscapes were astonishing. So many glaciers, mountain peaks, ridgelines and of course Denali. Everyone at TAT was so friendly, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable and patient! Everyone in the office was great. Amanda was the one who got me and my group of 10 people booked and ready for our trip! I didn’t have a for sure amount of 10 people when I first called to schedule, but Amanda was patient and flexible with me until I could confirm my whole group. Her and another lady (I’m sorry I forgot your name) were so helpful with answering my multitude of questions and helping us to feel assured and ready for our trip. Our pilot Clay was excellent! He was cool, calm, fun and knowledgeable providing us with great information all throughout the trip. And most importantly he kept us safe! He checked on us throughout the flight making sure we were comfortable, updated us on when their might be some turbulence and was patient with our photo taking on the glacier and with our little kiddos we had with us. The office was clean, warming and had a true Alaskan feel to it. The plane ride was comfortable and even though I get nervous with turbulence (we had very little of it on our flight) I still felt very safe. I have 4 other friends that have used this company and they all have had the same positive, exhilarating and time of their life experience with this company. I will certainly be referring my friends and family here and if I get the second chance, I will be flying with them again. Thank you TAT crew!! 😎🙌🏼
