Myself and my wife done the cross town pizza walk and our guide was Peter Van Buren (excellent) we went to 3 stops Lombardi’s, Rubirosa and Fiore’s. Our tour guide was really good as well as a fountain of knowledge about pizza and the restaurants the walk to each place was informative about the different neighbourhoods. These guys really know pizza every pizzeria had a different style and was excellent it’s well worth your time in the city. As a added bonus for us Scott actually came to the first stop with us although he wanted to keep it quiet we busted him but was really nice to meet him. Definitely do this

The pizza tour came up while I was exploring options of what to do on my visit - the reviews looked good and I LOVE pizza so I thought ‘what the heck’ and booked a ticket. When I arrived, David (our tour guide) and some of the others joining the tour were waiting outside Brunettis pizza in Greenwich Village. We were treated to a fascinating, delicious and well paced tour of three pizza shops in the area. It was incredible to learn how some of the most simple differences in ingredients, technique and execution could produce such diversity amongst the food that NYC is famed for. David was an awesome guide and I’m pretty sure our whole group left feeling like we’d shared a small piece of magic in the city. 20/10 recommended for anyone visiting NYC
