Firma Goofy Foot została założona w Lahaina na Maui w kwietniu 1994 roku przez właściciela/instruktora Tima Sherera, aby uwiecznić jego związek z Mother Ocean i uczyć starożytnego hawajskiego sportu surfingu.

Nasze lekcje SUP odbywają się w Lahaina, w naszej pięknej lagunie chronionej przez rafy, pełnej życia morskiego. Obserwacje żółwi są powszechne, podobnie jak hawajskie foki mniszki w ich naturalnym środowisku. Foki mniszki znajdują się na liście gatunków zagrożonych.

Poznaj podstawowe podstawy wiosłowania na stojąco wraz z oceną stanu, świadomością oceanu, zarządzaniem ryzykiem, a nawet technikami ratunkowymi. Zrób to, ciesząc się pięknem oglądania wyspy z brzegu i odkrywając podwodne środowisko rafy.

Dzieci w wieku 9 lat i młodsze muszą wziąć udział w prywatnych lekcjach samodzielnie lub półprywatnie z rodziną/przyjaciele.

Goofy foot was fun and professional. Our instructor, Armadillo, was great and even gave us a physics lesson. The waves were a little choppy but my boys and I managed to stay on the board most of the time. My husband had a little more time in the water, but had fun nonetheless. The best part, aside from the scenery, was seeing all the turtles! I think we saw at least 9 or 10 during our lesson. I really recommend this company. Side note- the parking lot across the street (unrelated to goofy foot) is a paid lot, so make sure you pay before you check in or you will get a $50 ticket. The signs are not very visible …wah wah.

This was our first time to Maui and my crew wanted to learn how to surf. I looked at a few different schools and this one ended up being the place I chose. Their lessons go later than any of the other surf companies. This means, you can do an activity in the morning and finish with this in the afternoon, or vise versa. Second, they have a professional photographer (a little pricey) that is worth every penny. All of goofy foot staff was top notch in customer service and was extremely helpful for my situation and great with my family; A+ professionalism. Last, our instructor, was a professional surfer and got everyone up on the board pretty quickly. My daughter struggled and he would not give up on her standing on the board. What an amazing experience! He definitely deserved a huge tip!! The one thing I want to mention.. in a group lesson there are five people with the instructor and safety is of the highest importance. With that said, each individual had to wait until it was their turn to surf with the one instructor. If I got to do it differently, I would have paid for private lessons for each of the people in my crew. That way they would have gotten more experience. I have to say, even though they had to take turns, it was one of the highlights of our vacation. I do not regret it and either will you!!

Had a great first experience surfing. I took a group lesson and Marcel’s instruction was great. It was a very positive experience and I’d recommend it to family and friends as a A+ experience. I’m a teacher myself and appreciated the high-quality teacher I had and that my kids had earlier this week. Plus I got to purchase photos from the lesson for a very reasonable fee to remember the experience. Thanks Goofy Foot Surf School.
