Amista Vineyards
Wine tasting stop. Tasting is optional. This tasting room is one potential stop we will make on our tour. If your heart is set on a specific location, please reach out and we will try our best to accommodate your request. From the Winery, "Amista, roughly translated, means "making friends" in Spanish. We chose it for three reasons. First, our journey into wine has been all about friends. Our friends were with us when we made our first wine, said good-bye to our first vineyard and first set eyes on this beautiful property in Dry Creek Valley. They have always been here to cheer us on, help us through the challenges and celebrate wine country living. Second, we chose a Spanish name for our winery in honor of those who originally settled this area. In fact, our vineyard straddles the boundaries of two former land grants, Rancho Tzabaco and Rancho Sotoyome. And third, we chose it simply because it begins with an "A", putting it at the top of every list!"

We had a great time. Chris was knowledgeable about the area. Scenery was amazing. Bikes were comfortable and the helmets were great to talk back and forth on. Great wineries. Highly recommend

This was by far the BEST tour of our trip. Chris is fun and knowledgeable. His mom came to our rescue with the most Amazing Pop-Up Charcuterie Board Ever! If you are in the Healdsburg area, do not miss this one! I promise you will love it.

Terrific way to see the wine country. Definitely the highlight of our trip. E-bikes are new and worked great. The helmets are equipped with Bluetooth headphones for communicating with each other. Bill led us with a commentary of the are to 3 unique vineyards for tastings and lunch. We were a little concerned that highway traffic would hinder the fun, but we encountered very little traffic. We had most of the roads to ourselves. Do it!
