Slip on your heated helmet and hit the gas--we are headed through Alaska's winter playground. This 1 hour guided tour takes place on the outskirts of North Pole where we will thunder across the famous Alaska Pipeline and zip through snow covered forests. We usually see some wildlife on every tour to include: Moose, Fox, Snowshoe Hares, Ptarmigan, Grouse, and squirrels.

All snowmobiles are new Ski Doo luxury touring snowmobiles. These snowmobiles are made for riding in style and comfort. All snowmobiles have heated handgrips and electric start.

Our first snowmobile excursion of the day typically offers the best chances for wildlife sightings, including moose. Lately, we’ve had great luck spotting wildlife along the trails. If it’s safe, we’ll stop so you can admire these beautiful creatures and capture some photos.

Eleven of us on a friend trip to Alaska chose the 2 hour guided snowmobile trip The whole experience was great. Will was our guide and did an excellent job. He was patient and did a great job making it fun. We saw 3 moose and had a great time. The staff there was great. They assess your current clothing to determine what and if you need their gear. Highly recommend this activity and request Will!!

We offer 2-2 hour trips daily. 2 hour trips are bookable through our Rod's Alaskan Guide Service website. The morning 2 hour trip has the best chance to see the most moose and other wildlife. Thank you for the review.

The staff were all excellent and made sure we had the right gear to stay warm on the trail. Unfortunately, another rider had a fender bender and the end of our trip was cut short and put a damper on things. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, I just wish we could have ended on a positive note or ridden longer.

During our safety and operations brief we instruct guests on proper following distances to avoid "rear ending" another snowmobile. Unfortunately another guest disregarded our safety instructions. Most importantly; no-one was injured in this incident. Typically myself or a manger goes immediately to any incident and the guide continues on with everyone not involved. Thank you for joining us.
