Slip on your heated helmet and hit the gas--we are headed through Alaska's winter playground. This 1 hour guided tour takes place on the outskirts of North Pole where we will thunder across the famous Alaska Pipeline and zip through snow covered forests. We usually see some wildlife on every tour to include: Moose, Fox, Snowshoe Hares, Ptarmigan, Grouse, and squirrels.

All snowmobiles are new Ski Doo luxury touring snowmobiles. These snowmobiles are made for riding in style and comfort. All snowmobiles have heated handgrips and electric start.

I took a solo trip to Fairbanks and ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much -- with the extra time though, I needed some other fun wintry activities. So, I booked a 3 hour tour with Rod's Alaskan Guide Service. I had never been snow-mobiling before and am petite so I was a little nervous, but the guide (his name escapes me) was super friendly and did an excellent job helping me get acclimated. We stopped an hour in to walk around and he showed me where and how they do ice fishing on the lake. I also had the opportunity to meet Rod's wife and son, who are both incredibly kind and friendly individuals. This was a fantastic tour of some truly stunning landscapes and definitely one of the highlights of my trip, I cannot recommend it enough.

We are glad you extended your trip and were able to go out with us to see a bit of Alaska's wild side by snowmobile. Every tour starts with detailed operating/safety instructions and practice riding before we he head out into the winter wonderland.

Snow machine tour was amazing. We were able to ride on the lake, saw some ice fishing and had the best tour guide Chuck. The machines were equipped with heated hand grips and helmet visors. I would highly recommend and matter of fact we are going again.

Tour guide Chuck was awesome. Allows a decent pace if somewhat experienced. Heated handles make the trip even better. Would not go any where else. Awesome Service!
