We are from the Northeast and this was our first trip to Jackson Hole. Spent a lot of time researching the best outfitter in the area to guide us through a trout fishing expedition and was referred to JH Anglers by more than one source. They lived up to their reputation of being a best-in-class outfit and navigated us through an incredible tour with AMAZING fishing and the most beautiful and majestic setting the planet has to offer. My wife and I added a half day of fly fishing on the Snake River as part of a week long visit to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole Anglers gave us a terrific river/fishing experience on the Snake south of Jackson in the national forest. It was great adding new terrain and vistas to our itinerary. Our guide was patient teacher, extremely knowledgable, and a good conversationalist. I am novice fly fisherman and took away a lot of new knowledge and tips. Plus I caught 5 fish including two large 15-16 inch native cutthroats. My wife had never fished before and had fun, too, and experienced the excitement of several strikes. We also saw wide range of birdlife on the river including a stunning bald eagle. We would recommend Jackson Hole Anglers to anyone looking to fish the area with an expert private guide. Pricing was reasonable and competitive.
