Looking to take a break from the casinos? THIS ACTIVITY IS PERFECT FOR YOU! Our group was lead by Dustin, who was incredibly knowledgeable about Vegas’ local landmarks. He shared a bunch of fun facts throughout the trip to the ATV garage and back. He also was very thorough when it came to teaching us how to operate the ATVs and safety procedures. Very clear and concise.
A few tips:
1. Wear clothing that you are okay with getting muddy and dirty. 100% guarantee you will not leave the area clean. I wore my only running shoes that I brought and had to clean them afterwards. Would recommend hiking boots, pants/leggings, and a t-shirt - unless you’re looking to take a mud bath.
2. This is NOT a thrill seeking activity. Strictly scenic and beginner friendly. If you’re seeking for more of an adrenaline filled activity, DO NOT BOOK. Call their office and ask them what they would recommend. This tour is really just for beginners and is very laid back.
3. There’s a bathroom and a convenience store at the ATV garage. You be given an opportunity to use the bathroom before and after ATV’ing. Plus grab snacks on the way back.
4. There will be an area where you can take photos with the ATVs. No need to try to take a selfie while ATV’ing.
5. Follow instructions. Don’t touch the animals. Don’t get off your ATV unless allowed to do so. If you don’t know what to do, ask. Our instructors were super approachable and trustworthy. They genuinely want to get you there and back safely.
Have fun adventurers! Be sure to ask for Dustin.
Just an FYI, Dustin’s style is unorthodox, casual, and easy going. He does cuss here and there, none of us had a problem with it, but for folks who are not into that sort of stuff, he’s still a FANTASTIC guide. Just let him know ahead of time and he’ll adjust, or ask for another guide. They all know what they’re doing.
