Alex, our tour guide, is a long-time resident of the area. He was able to tell us in his own personal experience what it was like watching San Antonio grow and change over the years. Alex had so much information to share at every turn. His fun personality only added to the experience. We learned about important figures in investing in the area, the effect the world's fair had on San Antonio, and what the future may hold. We saw many different things that we might have missed just walking around. Alex was also able to share some must-see areas as well. The tour did add to the rich history, and culture we would not have known about had we not gone on the tour.

I enjoyed seeing sights from the bus as well as getting off at a few sites to walk around. I did not like spending an hour and a half at the Mexican marketplace
