There is no adventure like whitewater rafting and there is no river trip like a Lower New River Gorge whitewater rafting trip. Rafting the New through the New River Gorge National Park is a milestone for East Coast paddlers.

The New River Gorge is the second oldest river in the world. Coursing through a 1000' deep canyon that is lined with soaring sandstone cliffs it is no surprise that this area was recently designated as a National Park. Wildlife sightings are abundant and guests will finish their river trip beneath the famous single arch expansion bridge known as the New River Gorge Bridge.

I was extremely nervous about rafting, as I had never done it before, but was told that this was the best way to experience the National Park. I am very grateful that I booked this experience! My fiancé and I had a great experience, and our guide, Scotty O, did a great job of making sure everyone had a great time. It was clear that he was experienced and wanted to make sure we got the best experience. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone else visiting the National Park.

First time rafting her in 25 years, and first with Ace. Great experience from the start, nice drive to the resort and plenty to do once you reach the compound. Matt was are guide, totally chill dude. Talked and explained everything the whole trip. We felt very safe and had a good time. Local guy real honest about dining and locations he enjoys. Pleasant adventure, next time we will do the whole day! Thanks a bunch!

ACE Adventure gave us a great day on the river. Me, my wife, and our 3 teens had an amazing time. It was well organized from the time booked online until we reached our car to drive home. Our river guide, Kenedi, was knowledgeable, skilled, and personable. It was our first time rafting, and we loved every minute of it.
