I highly recommend this tour, even if you're not a horse fan! The wealth of information our tour guide Daniel shared with us was amazing. We saw a lot in a short amount of time, but I never felt like he was rushing. In fact, he checked in often with us to make sure we got the photos we wanted and to see if we had any questions. One of our stops was at Keeneland Race Track. Since we were on the morning tour got to see horses exercising on the track, in addition to a tour of the grounds. We drove past many horse farms, with Daniel sharing interesting facts about every single one. These farms are simply beautiful and since it is foaling season, we got to see many mares and foals out in the paddocks. We briefly stopped at the farm where Seattle Slew is buried and had a longer visit at Magdalena Farm where we got up close and personal with some of the horses. You will see a lot and learn a lot on this tour. Book it !

We had high hopes for this tour and chose it over another tour because it offered 3 different experiences vs visiting multiple horse farms, including a much desired trip to see Keeneland. When we arrived, we were told as our bus was loaded we wouldn't be visiting Keeneland b/c it was the first race day of the season. Instead, he would take us around the back in hopes of seeing part of the race. We indeed caught the top of two horse heads. Nothing spectacular at all. If there is the possibility of not going on an advertised part of the tour, it should be explicit communicated! Our driver also allowed three folks to board the bus without masks in the middle of the pandemic! They finally figured it out and he gave them a mask. He spent an hour and a half driving around showing us farms out the windows, reciting the same facts multiple times. We had three school aged children who were bored out of their minds after than long and we could hardly blame them, as we were too. At one point, my 6 year old said, "You've already told us that". He spoke so fast you could barely understand him most of the time as well and his sense of humor was lost on most of us. When we finally did visit some farms, it was enjoyable. He had a lot of knowledge to share. It's really too bad that more of this tour wasn't visiting what was advertised. A total let down.

It clearly states on our website that during the race meets at Keeneland we substitute another venue on the pm tours which is Old Friends.Farm. We apologize that several people got on without masks because that is a requirement. Daniel gets almost all 5 star reviews but does tend to go to fast at times because he has a lot of information to share. We will try to get him to slow down.
