All photo tours include hands-on coaching and instruction to help you improve your photos both artistically and technically. Most tours include two guides, a husband and wife team who are skilled, award-winning Nature & Fine Art photographers. You get lots of personal attention and guidance, and tours are customized to the types of photography and natural locations that interest you the most.

Chris was quick to pick up on my skill level and molded his instruction to my needs. Chris is experienced and skilled, and this was a personalized learning experience. I came away with some fantastic images that I’ve already submitted for consideration in a juried photography exhibition.

We had a wonderful experience with Asheville Photo Tours from start to finish. We booked our private tour rather last minute and they were very accommodating! We met up with Bonnie before dawn and had no problem connecting with her and following her to the best spots. We chased the sunrise and fog for a while and then spent some time on beautiful fall vistas. She gave great advice on composition as well the the technical aspects of my camera. She was a delight to spend time with too, which made it even better. We went out again the next day and shot some more based on her tips. Loved it! I would definitely recommend this tour!
