Our guide Tommy took us through canyon 1 & 2 and we could not have had more fun! The water was cold, but it was a sunny day and I had so much adrenaline that I never felt cold (even after getting bounced into the water!) The water is crystal clear and the scenery is beautiful, but the real excitement is the rapids! Make no mistake-this is NOT a float trip! My husband and I both had a good time, as did our 16 year old grandson. He would have liked going down the last canyon, but my husband and I had enjoyed all of the excitement we could handle for the day. This canyon is a MUST for whitewater lovers! One of the top 5 in the world and I believe it!

We (husband, 12-year old son and I) did the 2-canyon trip in mid June 2020. I was dreading the swim test in the frigid water but it really did make me more relaxed once we faced the rapids. Gumby was our guide. He was fun and EXTREMELY SKILLED. We had total confidence in him. Dawn in the office was a big help when I called from Atlanta to do our trip planning. And Dana, the photographer, helped me after I returned home in locating the picture of my son grinning ear-to-ear after I foolishly left the shop without buying it. For a guaranteed great time, this is a must do.

What.A.RUSH! 2 adults and a teen loved our experience! This was our first time to whitewater raft and we truly enjoyed it. Six Mile Creek is beautiful so that alone is nice. But then the rapids are an adrenaline pumping rush! My wife and daughter fell out but were quickly rescued and were fine. Cold? Only if your hands or face are wet. The dry suits they provide kept us dry and warm from our toes to our neck. The guides were professional and also funny. The swim test at the beginning seems a bit daunting at first, but once you do it, it really isn't. While this was our first time to go whitewater rafting, it most certainly won't be our last!
