Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation
Minimum age is 6 years, must be capable of performing specific tasks independently
Properly fit into a type 5 coat guard approved life jacket
Wear closed toe shoes, quick dry materials for rafting (cotton not recommended)
Read and understand all the instructions in English
Consult a doctor before participating if you have a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns
Be able to self rescue in the event of a swim
Rental equipment available for rafting (wetsuits, polypro tops, river booties, splash jackets)

I have always been a little bit nervous about whitewater rafting but finally took the plunge with my two teens and we had a BLAST. I had to sign up initially by phone because I didn't have enough cell reception to do online and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The Noah's Ark crew from start to finish is so organized and professional. I really appreciated the very in-depth instructions BEFORE we got in the boat, WHEN we got in the boat and DURING the ride. We all knew when to lean right or left or pull in (I can't remember the terms.) Our guide was awesome. The ride was super fun and beautiful. I think a full day might be fun but really a half-day felt about perfect. We did afternoon and were pretty beat after it was over and got some dinner in Buena Vista. I really appreciated how kind, helpful and lovely everyone is. Amazing outfitter. This was our second time working with them, my daughter and I had rock-climbed with Noah's Ark two years ago and had an equally fabulous, safe, professional guide who made it really fun. Note to staff: I ESPECIALLY appreciated the spiel they've developed for the bus ride back. This could be just a boring, talk to your friend ride - NO. These guys have developed this spiel over the years that is HILARIOUS. I laughed my butt off. Thanks, Noah's Ark
