Initially it seems like a lot for someone to pick you and drive you to Hanauma Bay but it was worth it! If you book this tour, you are guaranteed tickets to the bay which is extremely hard to do on your own. It is very well organized and you don't have to worry about parking. They give you ample time in the park and you are one of the first ones to snorkel in the bay. They also include snorkel gear in the price. (We already had our own so I can't comment on the quality of their equipment. However the guide did say that if something was not working that they would bring you new stuff.) The price of the tour does not include the cost of tickets. You will have to bring cash with you, but it saves you the headache of trying to get in on your own. Traffic lines up along the road and they only let so many people in at a time. But when you are on the tour, they let those guests in first.

The snorkelling was amazing. It’s a bit of a gong show getting there and (my fault) and I didn’t realize it was so short. The driver was excellent. It was so windy that really affected the snorkelling.

Hanauma Bay is beautiful, but it a huge production to even get to it. The process is poorly organized. Our driver paid our entrance fee to the preserve at the gate. Our ticket should have been presented at that time, but it wasn’t. In addition, I don’t feel that our driver was very organized either. He did point out various locations on the drive and that was appreciated.
