What a fun way to go to the pubs! I have not been to LoDo in years for a night out but this was a great sampling spiced up by eerie tales from behind the grave. Tammy is a true storyteller who set the mood in a basement room at The Celtic. This is an intimate and interactive tour that gives strangers the opportunity to chat and get to know each other. I am not a bar person, but I felt so comfortable in this group of of about 15. Such fun people! The group was a mix of vacationers and locals.
Tammy encouraged questions and is such a vivacious spirit with copious personal ghost stories of her own. I was disappointed not to get into the Cruise Room at the Oxford Hotel because it was s closed (for a private party?) but we snaked along the hallways in the basement and witnessed the grandeur of the place.
The last stop was Union Station, which provided a view of a creepy subterranean relic (I won't spoil it by explaining further) that I never knew was there before. I loved the history (though I wanted more), the architecture, and the company. Thanks, Tammy for the great tour!
