Haunted History Walking Tour of Providence

Przegląd
Our company has been a member of the Providence community for nearly two decades. Our company is a walking, haunted history tour of Providence's College Hill neighborhood.

Our guides lead guests by lantern light as we explore the history, mystery, legends, and lore of our city. Learn about different types of hauntings, our spirits' most current activities, and the dark tales that have been forgotten over time. Our tour is a wonderful blend of history and mystery, perfect for believers and skeptics alike!

The tour includes a portion of College Hill. We have chosen the most walkable route, but it is indeed a hill and our streets are old. Please wear shoes that are comfortable and stable. It is also outdoors, so be sure to dress for the weather.

Our tour guide Carson was amazing! They were a really compelling story teller, and the ghost stories we heard gave us a lot to think about for the rest of our trip. The tour was definitely fun and family friendly, and we may have even had some unexpected visitors in our pictures from the night…

Not the horror and ghoul stories I expects but s great rundown of real things that occurred and led to ghostly experiences. On top of that a good preview of buildings and areas to visit in College Hill the next day - like taking one of those sight seeing buses with a running narrative.

Thank you for joining us! Our ghosts emanate from rather restrained New Englanders, so they don't get as wild as New Orleans or some more zesty places, but they are ethereal and wonderful. I appreciate you being able to see that and enjoy their presences, as well as the history that led them here. Thank you for joining us! Happy Hauntings!

Oh wow. This company does a fantastic job!!!! My son and I lead ghost tours in our hometown, and always try to find the local companies to take tours with when we travel. We found out about this group from the University of Rhode Island fb page. My son is a sophomore at URI in theater. The owner of the company is a URI theater alumni, so we naturally chose this tour to do. Kelly was our guide and her story telling abilities are way above fantastic. She really draws you in and maintains your attention. You could tell she is passionate about the haunted history of Providence. I also liked how she supported other tours and museums and recommended places for us to go to learn more about the stories we heard. She paused when traffic would interrupt and she made sure she was heard by all guests. She was very respectful of the areas we went to. She asked us to take pictures and share anything we found. My one thought would be that this particular tour would be hard for someone with mobility issues (I have asthma and a couple of the streets were challenging in grade). But never fear! They have other tours that sound like they could be better for those of us who can’t quite do that many hills. This tour will be great for families, as there are no jump scares. We are definitely doing more tours with them the next time I am up there. I think next time will be the investigation tour!!! 15/10 recommend! Oh, and her dress was ON POINT!

Thank you so very much!!!! I'm so glad we were able to treat a URI theater family to a great night out and appreciate your incredible review! This tour truly means something to our guides and me. The spirits matter, the history matters, and our community matters. I'm grateful that love was evident and that we were able to share it with you.
