Olivia did a great job telling stories about the history of Alexandria. The mix of drinks and a small group allowed everyone to share their personal paranormal experiences, ask intriguing questions, and make new friends..Some spooky things happen along the streets and in many businesses in Alexandria. Only one small complaint: the bar we ended in was really loud...too loud to continue earlier conversations.

Olivia was very knowledgeable and fun, loved hearing the stories. Me and my wife had a blast and would highly recommend all of the bars and pubs as well as the tour.

I’ve been really torn on how to review this tour. The first half was fantastic. Great stories and cool sights. But midway through the tour it became clear that several of our group cared only about the drinking aspect and our guide seemed to lean into their influence. The guide became inebriated enough that when she did continue the tour (less the foursome who stayed behind at stop 3 to keep drinking) she was slurring her speech and couldn’t remember the last however many stories to relay them to us. I admit I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of the tour but it was for entirely the wrong reason. People should also be advised that the ticket does not include any drinks—a voucher system that either discounts or includes a couple of drinks would make this more worthwhile.

Hi Tristan. Yes, our tours are a combination ghost tour and pub crawl so our guests have many different interests when booking with us. We do make it very clear, several times, that drinks are not included. We wish we could include them, but the ticket price would have to be significantly higher. We are concerned about your comments about the guide drinking. While our guides are allowed to enjoy a drink or two with their guests, they should never become intoxicated. This does not sound typical of your guide that evening, so it would be extremely helpful if you would reach out directly at [email protected] with more details so that we may look into the matter.
