Your guide will orient you to the area of East Cemetery Hill which is the location of heavy fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg before you enter the National Soldiers Orphanage Homestead. This building was used as the headquarters for General O.O. Howard during the battle and was also use as a hospital during and after the battle. After the end of the Civil War the building was turned into an orphanage for children whose fathers were lost during the American Civil War. That is where our story begins...

Mike, Undertaker, was awesome! His stories were engaging and super entertaining. He had special quips about each part of the tour, mostly about the Dobbin family. He pointed out the best spots to take pictures, and I was able to get an orb, which was so strong I could see it before I took the picture! I would definitely book with him again!

It was the best tour I have ever taken. Mike was beyond awesome. I also enjoyed Mike's tour of the Jennie Wade house. I will definitely be back.

This was my third tour through Ghostly Images of Gettysburg, my first time doing the Late Night Tour combo with both the Orphanage and the Jennie Wade House. It was also my 2nd time having Mike ("The Undertaker") as my tour guide, and just as he was the first time, he was thoroughly entertaining throughout the entire tour from the time we left the tour center to when we walked out of the orphanage. If you decide to take a tour with them and see The Undertake is your guide, you will be in for a fun (and extra creepy) night! I'm looking forward to returning for another tour (or two) later this year!
