Hawaiian Rainforest Banana Cultivation Experience

Travelers will experience our collection of over 100 apple banana trees. This activity will give travelers an opportunity to not only see our collection, but experience hands-on cultivating techniques such as cutting and planting. They will also get an opportunity to learn about a number of other plants and trees from the Hawaiian rainforest. Our property is located on an 800 year old lava flow in the Hawaiian jungle which features our collection of lava rock sculptures, Hawaiian tikis and our off-grid lifestyle that travelers will also learn about.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to The Big Island. Jason and Nicki were very personable and we had a great time getting to know them, touring their off grid property, eating fried green bananas, viewing their art, and seeing life from a different perspective. They also gifted us each a handmade necklace which my partner has been wearing every day since. We definitely recommend this experience!
