We greatly enjoyed our Fall 2016 Greenwich Village food tour, so we took the Hell's Kitchen tour during our May 2018 NYC visit. Our Hell's Kitchen guide Jenn was great and the food was good, but we enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour more for a couple of reasons.
Greenwich Village is in the ‘old’ part of the island, thus many streets are tree-lined, narrow, and not on a grid. Hell’s Kitchen had all of the hustle and bustle that you associate with New York - wide streets, lots of cars and busy sidewalks. Greenwich seemed to have more history because it is older and the restaurants we visited seemed to have been there for decades. That said, you can't go wrong with either tour.
