  • All drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
  • For safety reasons it is important that you have drivers and passengers that do not get spooked too easily. We take it slow and easy, but the trail does have terrain with steep up and down slopes and some cliffs.
  • Comfortable, closed-toed shoes are required for safety; no flip flops allowed
  • Each vehicle fits up to 4 passengers; 2 people minimum per vehicle
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required. Drivers must be over 21 yrs. of age.
  • Sunset tour departs approximately 3 hours before sunset (roughly 5pm); please call the day before the tour for exact departure time (contact info will be listed on your voucher)
  • Please note that this is a U-drive experience which means the customer does the driving.
  • A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended in the warmer months
  • Important: Drivers need to be comfortable driving in conditions with steep terrain.

We booked this tour because we wanted an authentic, one of a kind off-road experience where we could drive the vehicle ourselves. The staff was very friendly; Danny, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the terrain and also very clear in his instructions once we got on the road. The vehicles are very well maintained. The scenery is fantastic: the trails have outrageous rock crawling opportunities, and there are amazing views at almost every turn. We stopped several times so we could take pictures of the river valley, rock formations, and even fossilized dinosaur tracks. It was definitely a high-adrenaline experience. We all enjoyed it and have already recommended to friends!

Absolutely the best experience. Ben the guide was the best and kind and funny. The operation was well run and felt professional and safety was a priority. The sights were amazing. The hills and terrain were exciting. I can’t say enough good about it. We went Ion the early morning trip before the crowds and it was a great decision. It was getting pretty crowded out there by noon.
