We had a group of 10 people joining this tour and I was not expecting to learn so many things from our informative guide Annabel. She is a wonderful lady who has lived in NY all her life and see the city transform.
The High line Park is beautiful and Annabel has point out to us that on certain placed on the Highline, you can view the different decades of architecture around us. The High Line park is not only a beautiful scenic park but it is a walk through history as well.
Not only we learned so much history about NY walking the High Lin Park, we had the most delicious food tour ever! They were generous in giving us big portions and delicious food to taste.
We had chocolates, meringues, cannoli's, bagel bits, ricotta cheese ball, and delicious Italian sub!
We were stuffed and walked away a happy group!
I would have perhaps a few more food stops and sample portions of Pizza, etc, Our guide was excellent but we had over an hour of tour before our first food stop.
Great experience learning about the history of the highline and Grennwich village.
I wouldn't say it was a food tour like others I have done in NYC, it is more about the arcitecture of the buildings and the development of the highline.
Annabel was just a lovely tour guide, her passion for her neighbourhood oozed out of her.
