  • Those requiring wheelchair access into the museum will need to enter the museum to the left of the main entrance (while facing it) where a ground level entrance is located. Please inform the staff you are meeting a tour group in the main lobby.
  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
  • Non-flash photography is allowed. However but cannot be used inside the Museum. Selfie sticks are also prohibited. Please note there is a security check before entering the building that can take up to 15 minutes.

Meeting up was simple after the free coat check in the lobby. Our guide Paul and our group of 14 were terrific as we saw multiple floors & galleries which he described perfectly with a great voice and knowledge. Perfect Tour!

This tour was disappointing and the tour guide was unprofessional. He did arrive on time and was very friendly, but then he spent the next two hours showing us very little of the museum--more than half our time was spent on Egyptian artifacts, and 20 minutes more droning on about one single painting. We saw little beyond that and he gave us no suggestions or help on what to see after the tour ended. It felt like such a waste of time and money, and such a shame considering we had little time to spend in one of the greatest museums in the world. He also talked on and on about his dysfunctional childhood in a cult, derided religions, and ended the tour requesting we follow his cult recovery website. It was inappropriate and super weird. Unfortunately, I would not trust this company again with my time or money.
