This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

Beautiful nature. Good organization of the trip. Easy hike, good for beginners. We was lucky to see moose, elk, bear.

Kyle Harris is your man. One of the best trips that we have been on while here in Colorado. We started a little late on the trail due to road construction ongoing on the route up to Longs Peak but were able to make up for it on the way back down the mountain. Snow was still covering some part of the trail when you got above the tree line but Kyle was able to help us navigate it without issue.

Our tour guide Win was very knowledgeable about the history of each town we visited, the plants and trees nearby, and the rock formations. He was also very pleasant and courteous. We had a bit of bad weather and Win was always cautions about what route to go to ensure our safety, and we just had to go with the flow and enjoy the ride. We didn’t do as much hiking as I expected, but I think Win’s overall knowledge made up for it; I would definitely go back and do a longer hike. The tour was well paced; we had plenty of time to get snacks or coffee along the road and for potty breaks. I was a bit worried about traveling solo, but I had a great time meeting new people from all around the US and the world.
