This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

I chose this trip since it was the right pace for my fitness level. Kyle was our awesome guide. He went above and beyond the hike by talking about Colorado in general, and giving some insight into the wildlife. It was a beautiful day for a hike with some mild showers. The hike was up to gem lake - a beautiful little lake at the top of the mountain. We came across some elk, and goats! Kyle also drove through Bolder and some small sweet towns on the way, which made the overall trip worthwhile! I would recommend this to anyone who is new to the location to get a view of the Rockys!

Kyle really knows his way around the Rocky Mountain national Park. He went hiking with our group of three, on a pretty crowded day but knew all the spots so that we wouldn’t be stuck in traffic. He reached us a lot and no question was too much for him. The Hike itself was just beautiful.

Took the tour today. Mel has deep knowledge of the history of towns, geology, and trails. Her passion for nature and history made it a fun and entertaining learning experience and we couldn’t recommend this hiking tour highly enough!! Highly recommended even for the experienced hiker. Sites are breathtaking and wildlife is abundant. Take this trip!
