This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

I highly recommend this hiking tour. We took this yesterday and it was extremely beautiful in the snow. It was also a pretty easy hike (about 1-2 hours). Mel was our guide and she was knowledgeable about every aspect of the Rockies/wildlife/Denver (AKA, she pretty much knows the answer to ANY of your questions). If you plan on coming to Denver, take this tour!!!

Booked in for the hike, unsure if would go ahead due to weather. Confirmation the night before that we would be snow shoeing :) met tour guide Kyle and our small 5 person group. Wow what an experience. Kyle was the best super knowledgable and an all round great guy and tour guide. Will be back to do another hoke with Kyle. Worth every dollar, catering was a massive bonus!

We had a very friendly driver and an upbeat group. We enjoyed every bit of it. We started with the hike and it was picturesque. You do need to be somewhat fit. THe lunch was pleasant by the lake. Then our guide took us onto more places with great photo opps. It was a perfect day with perfect blue skies. I am so glad we did it. The park is just terrific.
