Step back into the Arizona Wild West with this Historic Gold Mine Jeep Adventure. With adrenaline pumping, you enter mine to follow same vein of Gold that prospector “Old Rackensack” chased in 1880. Our Hard-Rock mine allows guests to Safely experience Old-Timers painstaking methods for extracting the elusive precious mineral that had such a profound impact on Arizona’s History.

In-route to the Mine, you will explore the Upper Sonoran Desert’s rugged landscape with Flora & Fauna photo stops plus educational narration about Rackensack Canyon’s Archaeological Indian Ruins. After an exhilarating mountainside ride to Summit Studio/Giftshop, you will enjoy complimentary refreshments before heading to mine.

Had a fantastic time, Rebel is an incredible guide, personable and so knowledgeable! Great trip up and back, Charlie and Ginger are wonderful hosts! Can’t recommend this adventure enough!

My wife and I enjoyed the tour tons, our tour guide was very informative about the history of the area, the natives and settlers, the wild life and the vegetation as we drove through the valley and up the mountain trail to the 4500 foot high mountain top. This is where we met Charles & Ginger, the owners, who welcomed us into their home and explained to us the history of the gold mines and then took us for a tour of 1 of the 3 gold mines on their property as well as how they built everything on top of the mountain, everything was very informative.
