Fabulous walking tour lead by Savannah. She provided so much historic detail of the beautiful city of Savannah. We covered many of the beautiful squares, streets and homes. I highly recommend this tour to enhance your visit to Savannah.

Lots of valuable and interesting info. Mike was a great guide and it was obvious that he really enjoyed sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of Savannah.

My wife and I were very disappointed in our tour guide. There were a number of inaccuracies in things that he told us, and he seemed to be saying things for effect rather than really providing the history. For example, he claimed that Savannah's St. Patrick's day parade is the second largest in America--not true. He said that the city's cathedral was a unique example of French Gothic architecture in that it had two spires, ignoring the fact that many actual Gothic cathedrals in France have two spires. And he claimed that the Jews who helped found Savannah came to "pray in the wilderness", ignoring the fact that they were fleeing persecution by the Inquisition in Europe. As a general matter, he whitewashed the history of slavery and racial discrimination in the City. He seemed to be trying more to entertain than to edify.
