This is great experience for first time visitors to get quick overview & acclimation to the history deeply embedded in Savannah. The narrator accompanied the driver and verbally points out each of the many landmarks around the city as we cruise by in the open windowed trolley bus. Actors came out at strategic stopping points and came on board to tell their stories as if they were still living as a specific point in time in the past. This helped drive their message home with the trolley bus occupants. Our bus tour was in Savannah for three days and we took a day tour and a ghost/graveyard tour in the evening. Both were very informative. I’d highly recommend if your in Savannah to take at least one.

Being able to hop off and back on. The drivers were great and share a lot of history and info about Savannah.

The hop on hop off option was very nice. It has several benefits. It allowed us to be in Savannah from morning until afternoon. We were able to stop and walk through squares or from stop to stop and take our time and relax. Another benefit is if you don’t like your driver/tour guide just get off and take the next tour bus. I prefer the ones that speak a lot about history and not the ones that expressed their political views or crack jokes the whole time. But you can get any kind you like with the hop on hop off. But the tour was very good stops were very good exactly what we were looking for.
