Checked with the concierge and she pointed out that both tours made the same stops. This one was a bit cheaper and added characters at stops. Only one character appeared on our circuit -- Rosie the riveter -- would have liked seeing Forrest Gump. We rode the entire route to decide where we would 'hop off' on the next circuit. Our driver had told us that the Old Pink House was open for lunch and you did not need reservations. NOT EXACTLY -- we went back and were told that it would be an hour and a half wait so we went elsewhere. Not the only stretch by our driver -- he claimed the Pirate House was a restaurant not to be missed -- maybe 40 or 50 years ago but it is now a tourist trap We went the last time in town and regretted it -- my wife and I remembered it from trips with our parents in the 60s. After walking around the historic district we went to stop #14 to wait for the bus back to the origin point. It took OVER AN HOUR!! and their competitor -- the orange trolley had at least 6 buses before ours finally arrived and it was packed. Felt sorry for the others at the stop when the driver said another bus would be along in 15 minutes. As we were returning to the starting point he asked if anyone needed a ride back to their hotel and we raised our hands. He was not familiar with our hotel the Thompson (a Hyatt hotel) which just opened in July. Fortunately when we arrived at the place to get shuttled back the driver, Isaac, was the same driver who picked us up earlier that morning. We enjoyed our rides with him but would choose the other hop on hop off tour next time.
